Color Varieties

You can find that the Green Sukabumi stone comes in two variants; Pedra Hijau (Verde or Green type) , and Pedra Hitam (Black type). You can also find Rock Surface (crystal color based) variants for our rocks, giving your design more texture as you desire.

This stone is excavated and then processed with machines to separate the color based on the concentration of chlorite minerals formed by iron nodules and layers. This gives value of uniqueness and elegance to the tiles in both dry and wet condition.

In case customers request certain color range, color selection will be applied to meet the request.

Installation & Care

Placing Sukabumi Stones, either the Pedra Verde or Pedra Hitam type, is the same for any other swimming pool tile. It’s advisable to use grout in order to prevent movement and absorption of moisture from the edges of your tiles. The grout will also make tiles easier to care for in wet condition.

Common Issues with Green Sukabumi Tiles

Good maintenance is required to keep these stones in pristine condition, which mostly involves keeping their colors appear well in your pool. There are two common problems for this type of stone; oxidation, a color change from prolonged exposure to natural elements, and crumbling, which is caused by more porous structures of the stone (commonly found in the Rock Surface variants). Clay materials inside the tile may leak out from your tiles underneath intense sunlight, and washed by flowing water.
